What is LEEF?
The Logan Elm Education Foundation (LEEF) provides support to the Logan Elm Local School District. The Foundation exists as a separately incorporated 501 (c)(3) organization. The mission of the Logan Elm Education Foundation is to enhance learning by engaging the community, supporting innovative programs, partnerships and collaborations to improve the quality of education for all children in the Logan Elm School District.
The Foundation was created in 2009. A Board of Directors, composed of nine community members, two high school students (one Junior and one Senior) and one ex-officio employee of the School District, govern the Foundation.
The Foundation has set many goals that include providing the Logan Elm community an opportunity to partner with the Logan Elm School District Board of Education. It is the hope of the LEEF board that this Foundation will provide an outlet for community members to make donations that will further the education of both the students and the community members of the Logan Elm School District.

LEEF Summer Enrichment Program
Here are a few pictures from our LEEF Summer Enrichment Program. During the summer months, we have been able to provide the following opportunities to Logan Elm students. Every Thursday during the month of June, the students participated in various activities such as a trip to the Columbus Zoo, Art Kindness Day, a trip to Barnes and Noble where the students were able to choose books and received a journal, and Naturalist Day at the Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park on 188. In the month of July, the students toured the Ohio History Center and attended a Chillicothe Paints game.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible for our Logan Elm students!
